Who needs to tell you that it is a busy time of year. With work, house readying, gift buying, baking and parties, I’m already a little stressed! BUT my dear friend gave me a wonderful treat last year in taking me to the Peachtree Garden Club Tour of Homes for the first time, and I vowed to never miss it. Is it a huge hassle driving to each house, parking on a busy street and trekking all the way to each front door? Yes. Is it completely worth it? ABSOLUTELY! It is so fun to see real houses where real people live that happen to be very interesting at a minimum and really gorgeous at their finest. It’s an opportunity to see inside homes that you wouldn’t see otherwise, and I find getting a glimpse of the gracious homeowner’s personal styles to be fascinating.
