West Midtown to Get New Fuqua Development Mixed Use Project

Posted by

Curbed Atlanta reports that Fuqua Development plans to develop a central corner in West Midtown next door to Atlantic Station and IKEA. Plans are to build high-density residences, standalone houses and commercial spaces at the corner of 17th Street and Northside Drive. A few years ago, Amtrak investigated building a new station on the vacant 12.5-acre site, and ever since, it’s been one of the most sizable pieces left for development between Midtown and Howell Mill Road. The property sits at the western entrance to Atlantic Station and may provide great skyline views. Estimated completion is Fall 2016.
